CHEERS is a mobile application that provides educational resources about the risks of the irresponsible use of alcohol information and triggers reflection on their own habits.
It helps users track their alcohol intake and provides personalized and contextual feedback on the risks and disadvantages of hazardous use of alcohol. We augmented these features with a social influence persuasive strategy that allows users to compare their behavior (abstaining from alcohol) with that of their peer group and to evaluate the efficacy of this strategy.
